Common questions, straight answers.
What is digitizing and why do I need it?
Digitizing is the process of converting your artwork into a stitch file that the embroidery machine can read. It tells the machine exactly where each needle goes, what color thread to use, and in what order. Every design must be digitized before it can be embroidered — but once it's done, you never have to pay for it again.
How much does digitizing cost?
Standard digitizing is $35 per design. Larger or more complex designs — like a full jacket back — may have higher digitizing charges. We'll always quote you upfront before any work begins. The good news: it's a one-time cost. Reorders of the same design never require re-digitizing.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Most items have no minimum — you can order as few as 1 piece. The exception is hats and caps, which have a 12-piece minimum. If you're unsure about your specific item, just ask.
What file format do you need for my artwork?
Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) give us the cleanest results to digitize from. High-resolution raster files (PNG, JPG at 300 DPI or higher) also work. If your logo is a low-res JPG from a business card or website, let us know — we'll do our best to work with what you have.
Can I change thread colors on a reorder?
Absolutely — thread colors can be changed at any time at no additional charge. This is perfect for teams that want the same logo in different colorways, or businesses that update their branding.
How long does embroidery take?
Digitizing is completed within 24–48 hours. Once you approve the proof, embroidery production typically takes 3–5 business days. Turnaround may vary for larger orders — contact us if you have a specific deadline and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Can you embroider items I bring in?
Yes — we embroider on customer-supplied items as well as garments we source for you. Items should be clean and in good condition. Some materials (like very stretchy or delicate fabrics) may affect the result, so feel free to check with us before bringing anything in.
